I was thinking about personal plates and here's what I have so far. 8 characters for NE plates: NOTNITRO JEPNITRO 08LIBERTY KK LIBBY MAIL BOX GR8LIBBY MUD4LIBY the first two are my favorite. Anyone else got some good ideas? |

I have a ham radio license, so I was thinking of getting ham radio callsign plates. Mine would be K6SIX. Everytime I see KJ4ME I think that's his ham radio callsign 
In fact, I looked it up once only to find that person doesn't live in Colorado , he lives in Kentucky. LOL http://www.qrz.com/detail/KJ4ME after looking it up, it finally dawned on me.. KJ For Me .... well, duh!~ ha ha |

Oh, ITS A JEEP could have been best. 08LIBERTY is a good choice, otherwise go with your guts. |

Well if I was staying in the military I was going to get "BOHICA"(Bend Over Here It Comes Again),for all the times I get screwed  !
My fav is "TI3VOM",it only really works for the front plate,when a person in front of you looks in the rear view mirror it say's "MOVE IT". |

The move it one is only funny if you have a fast car....of which the kj is woefully not!

I had 2DVS4U for years and most people could not fiqure it out but then thats also why I kept it because no one could
I wanted GOT4LO it was available one day and the next day when I went to get it ......it was gone

wow thanks for all the suggestions. I've picked my 4 choices: 1st - ITSAJEEP 2nd - 08LIBRTY 3rd - IH8NITRO 4th - NOTNITRO I was going to try 4NIKATE but I think they would have figured it out and said no, plus its horribly unprofessional. |

Honestly I think you should come up with something more creative... ITSAJEEP is borderline license plate worthy, the others are highly questionable. 08LIBRTY sounds like an advertisement... IH8NITRO is highly hypocritical. Would you want the Cherokees and the Wranglers in the family have license plates saying IH8LIBRTY? NOTNITRO is like someone having a grand national and putting NOTMONTE on it. It's like... ok.....???? Just my haypenny. |

You guys came up with some good ones. I can't come up with any better ones. Although the one I was toying with was - 7SLTGRL. (for seven slot grill).... No one that didn't have a jeep would ever figure it out....haha. Personally I like - GOT4LO - best. I think you should give that one a shot unless you could just get the initials - KK............ Just my opinion. p.s...........or 08KK |

I tried GOT4LO but it was already taken. 7SLTGRL is a creative one but like you said only Jeep owners would get it. I'm trying to stay away from anything KK since I don't want someone to get the wrong idea of KKK and key my car or something. |

I think most non-Jeepers would think 7SLTGRL means "7 slut girl" or something like that. Here are some random ideas: JEEPLIFE (or J33PLIFE or any other substitution of 3's for E's) OFFRDKNG 4LONITRO WW2WNNER BOXONWLS JEEPSFTW AJEEPTHG (can be interpreted as A JEEP THING or A JEEP THUG) 4X4FOSHO (continuing the gangster theme) Those were pretty dumb. I just typed whatever came to mind.
My favorite so far is GOT4LO. It's a subtle slap in the face to Nitro owners, and even better, not everyone would understand it. The key to a good license plate is that it must be somewhat cryptic. If GOT4LO is already taken, can you add a space and make it GOT 4LO...? |
