'08 Is built!

So it's finally all built and now they are putting it in storage due to the holidays. Dealer will notify me when it gets on a rail car. How long does it take from rail car to dealer? I'm just hoping that it doesn't get here until Jan 3rd (our lease is up on our E350 on 2/3, but they will let me turn it in 1 month early with no penalties)

Just a couple of places here in town that they park them, think its by the way they will be shipped out. It will be more than likely getting out there after the 1st of the year.

That would be "rare" if you put a L.O.S.T. Decal on it before it arrives :twisted:

Maybe I should get a few LOST stickers and stick them on all the new ones!!!! :lol:

May get arrested for getting into the lot, but would be cool.....mmmmmm.....maybe when they are on the trucks ready to leave :lol:

This is my first post here. I'll tell you about my experience.

Mine was ordered on 17 November. On 7 December it showed being at the factory, having already been painted. They were starting to work on the trim.

It arrived in Texas on the 18th. So, my guess is that transportation takes about a week.

But, I hear that they shut down the factory for 3 weeks around Christmas. So, not sure how much that'll affect you.

Putting a L.O.S.T. sticker on a nee KK before Chrysler shipps it out would be just to COOL Think of the raised eyebrows at the stealership upon delivery and add to it when said customer says "Alright the decal is PERFECT"
We could actually start a trend??? :?:

Just how cool would that be????

So I finally get to pick up the KK tomorrow! I'll compare it with my build sheet so that I know that they didn't miss anything. It sure took awhile, it was sent via rail on 12/27 and arrived to Colorado on 1/5/08 and has been sitting there until today when they delivered it to the dealership. Not in any rush so the slowness didn't bother me since our lease on the MB is up on 2/4. I'll try to take pics tomorrow and post if I figure it out :oops:

WOW...I picked up the KK today and must say it's pretty awesome! I love the MyGIG and Skyslider! I'll take pics tomorrow and hopefully post soon...

the skyslider makes me want to take a sawzall to my own roof...i'd kill for that option!

Then again...i remember resale value in case my junk gets totalled:P

ok, I'm jealous now. I want a MyGig. I may get one anyway, if I can find one at a reasonable price. The dealer wants $2,500 for the MyGig and installation. He did tell me that if I could find one on EBay from a Chrysler/Jeep dealer and if I could get a dealer invoice from them that he would add it to my original factory warranty. He says that the guys on EBay off some prices that he can't offer, and that he's worked with customers before that got their radio on Ebay and he's installed it for them.

I got the MyGIG for $1395 when I got my KK built...I didn't know it was that huge of a difference if you were to get it afterwards. Sorry guys the pics will have to wait a few days because I'm off to SIN CITY and won't get back until Tues. I'm still trying to learn everything on the KK. I am really impressed with a lot of the options and nick-nacks the KK has. I've owned an '05 4Runner and comparing the two I have to say the KK can keep up! I love the remote start, especially here in CO, and love the MyGIG (no more carrying around those darn cd's).
