hey, you're in Colorado... maybe that thing just got too cold and cracked I haven't checked, is that thing made of leather? Maybe some sort of protectant, armor all or something like that might be in order. |

Hey, I just noticed.. where did you get your seat covers Digger? Those look pretty nice. I can't seem to find any nice ones here. All we have is the same exact sets in every auto parts store in town. |

Maybe I should start using leather protectant on that as well. I try to not use armor-all because it tends to make things crack sooner and overall dulls things you put it on. I used to love using armor-all on my dash with my previous Accord...and now I know better, haven't used that stuff in years. |

I was just over at Big Lots a couple of weeks ago. I'll have to go back and see if they have those here. Is it fairly heavy fabric? Everything I see in the auto parts stores are cheap junk and fairly expensive. |

It's on the bottom of the parking brake boot where the zipper is. It runs perpendicular to the parking brake handle. I'll try to take a picture of it and post it if you'd like to see it. At this point it's very small, and hasn't gone all the way through. |

If that is a zipper on that boot all you need is the right tool to zip it right back up. I can;t think of the name of the tool but it looks like a pair of needle nose pliers with some funky ends on the tip. You just clamp it on the zipper where it came undone and pull it like a zipper tab and it zips right back up. Here is what i am talking about. Hope it helps. Mike |

I wish that could be done, but there is no pig tail so to speak below the center so its a no go...its kinda like when the zipper goes on you pants and the zipper is all the way up |

Check with a Boot shoe repair shop and they have heavy duty sowing machines for boots they can normally supply the zipper or you can search one out since the dealership has a back order situation maybe they would accept the bill and reimburse you. Just a thought and maybe get a better zipper at the same time. |
