I was sitting in my KK today and noticed the little black square at the top of the shifter labeled "Tow/Haul". I don't know why I had never noticed that before. So I pushed it and a Tow/Haul light comes on on the instrument panel. I always wondered where the button was to disable the overdrive, now I know. LOL It was totally different on my KJ and I had wondered where it was on the KK. I guess I really should read the book one day, but what fun is that? |

Had one on my 96 Grand Cherokee too. It will increase the RPMs slightly for improved towing. Drive on the highway and tap the button and watch the tach go up. Also due to towing and higher RPM, your fuel economy will drop....but that is a no brainer...right? |

my last 3 SUV's have all had basically the same thing, including my 04 Liberty. I'm not sure they called it the same name in those though. And this button is just so small it's really not very noticable, plus it's not a button that sticks out from it's mounting surface, it's sort of flush. |
