the flat that I had last night ruined the tire on my KK. I had to order another tire. here's what was driven into the tire. The hole was so big that the tire couldn't be repaired.

by the way, Jeep Chrysler no longer covers tire changes in their 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. It was covered on my KJ, but not on the KK. |

I wonder i the cover it in their extended warranty? Hmmm....never really did look it up! We have AAA mainly for my wife so she doesn't have to get out and change the tire, etc. |

Notice the handle (which broke off when I ran over it) side is stuck inward, there's a nick on the wheel where it hit and turn into the tire, and there was no other hole in the tire for the screw driver to be pushed through. I thought I pissed someone off at first too but this was off the road.... I was really surprised at my luck. |

Isn't it painfull to pay so much for such a crappy OEM tire just to keep a matched set? I felt like I was being gipped. So glad the Goodyears are now gone. |

![]() Haha, wow! Thats alittle crazy looking. I had a small stick, yes, STICK, go through the widewall in our ZJ's tire like that. Never did understand how a little stick could go through it without breaking. Im alittle confused why you paid $160 for a new tire. |

A few reasons. it was 6pm and they were the only ones open, my job doesn't allow me much time after work to get it done and I just wanted it fixed. $160 includes everything.... dismount, mounting, balancing, install, tax and the tire itself so I still feel ok paying that. |
