| Post subject: | EVIC Question |
ok guys...can ssoem one show me some pictures of their evic system display and controls??? I did this test this morning and found out that the section where the evic display is active on a sport.... I didn't get any thing that looked like a code but i couldn't under stand a thing... any way here is the test.... Procedure. Liberty. 1. Enter car, shut door. 2. Put on the emergency brake and tranny in "Park"... for the manual, nothign is needed except the parking brake 3. Hold down trip button. 4. Turn key to "ON" position and let off the trip button. 5. You will get a light show along with dancing gauges! 6. Do not start the car, Once it is done running its system checks the gauge cluster will return to normal and you can be on your way! This checks that all gauges and lights are functioning normally. The important thing is to watch the odometer. It will have codes coming up. When it shows a code starting with "p" this is your error code. for example. P 1*** What does that mean you ask? To look up your problem code go here. www.actron.com/code_lookup.php i have not tried out that code look up site yet but if you have a code, post it and we will get you an answer |

do the 07 kj have the evic in the dash or is it in the over head console... Also, do you start the process the same way? |
