Does anyone know if I have to return my leased KK to the same stealership that I got it from? Fam said yeah, Dealer said YES, Others say NO, different dealer said just a Jeep dealer will do. Its all Chrysler anyway right?
Thanks.

Any dealership will do, but I'd go back to the purchasing dealer because they will actually have your paperwork and will make the process a lot easier.

Are you really returning your Liberty? You're going to take a hit financially by turning in early.

Here is an idea, Have you read the lease documents yet?

Some where in there, I would bet, there is a phone number to call and ask that question too.

not trying to be a jerk, but, duh!

If it doesn't say who you need to return it to, then there should be a customer service number on there someplace.

I would have read the documents BEFORE I signed them. That way you can have answers and maybe some questions to ask before you get into the lease. Just me, I am kind of funny that way.

I would bring it back to the same dealer. Like Sleeve said, They have the paper work and it will be so much easyer if you bring it back to the place you leased it from.

If it's anything like MB financial then they will make you get a "pre-inspection" before turning it in. It only takes a few mins and they take photos and see the condition of the vehicle so that they can auction it off.

If you just take it to the dealer before the inspection then it's their decision on the "condition" of the vehicle. Again it's assuming if it's the same process as MB financial.

Well my lease is through Wells Fargo bank so NO mine does not have to go back to the dealer it came from. I bet if you have Chrysler as your lease holder that it will have to back to the dealership. I'd give my salesman a call to have him find out... heck its what they're there for.

No, im not returning it in early. I might be moving from the cities here, and I don't want to have to ship it back to MN just to return it. It was just a general question.
I would have looked it up in the papers, but they are in the safety deposit box, and I am pretty busy lately.

I guess Sleeve thought you were returning early given that this is the KK section, so returning a KK would be quite early into any lease period...

Other than convenience, there is no requirement to return your vehicle to the dealership. I'm in Canada, so the situation might be slightly different, but I assume your lease is with Chrysler Financial, not with the dealer, so any Chrysler dealer could take care of it for you. And I'm sure they'd be all too happy to do so if you're getting a new vehicle from them at the same time.

It doesn't matter which dealership it goes to. If it's through Chrysler Financial then it can go to any jeep dealership. If it's through a different 3rd party then it's up to that 3rd party on where you take it to. The vehicle belongs to the financial institution that you leased it through and has no affiliation to any dealerships. The advantage of Chrysler financial is that you can take it to any chrysler/jeep/dodge dealership because it all belongs to Chrysler financial. Just call up the financial institution you are using and they will tell you what the process is.

No, she wont be driving like that anymore. It taught her well, they had to air lift her to reno for medical help. her head was split open.
I will post pics if you want. (of the laredo, not her head.)

Hell, my girlfriend barely likes RIDING in my Jeep, let alone driving it.

Which is fine with me, we can take her fuel sipper.

MNKK, I wanna see the wreckage! (of the Jeep, not her head)
