Can I get a pic of the top outside of someones windshield. I got a replacement today, and I don't know if there was a trim strip up there. it looks like there should be one, there is kind of a big gap not to have one. |

When I install windshields we sometimes have to use a moulding (even though there isnt one from the factory) I think it looks finished with the moulding. |

I noticed my 04 KJ was like that also. I sort of thought it would look better with some trim of some sort. It would at least help keep the dirt from collecting there. |

IIRC, the upper windshield trim was removed from the KJ's due to it causing wind noise.....I'm sure they also realized they could save a buck per Jeep too like when they removed the rear window close pad from the early KJ's. |

Mine started flapping on the interstate one day. I looked at a few other KJs during the next couple days (duct taped the thing down), and realized they didn't have one. Yanked that mofo off! BTW...my early KJ never had a rear window pad...but almost all the later ones I've seen do;) |

Probably kids. The kids around our city for some reason like to do that. I guess its true that boredom really does lead to property distruction. |
