Hey guys - just want to run this by you... I have the 6-speed... If I punch it in 3rd or 4th gear, up through 4250 rpms or so, periodically I get a rattle/shudder that sounds like it could be heat shield, but not really sure. Generally, the sound seems to come from front left of the driver and is hard to reproduce on command. When it happens, holding the engine at that speed will maintain the sound, but if you let the engine speed drop and bring it back up, the noise does not occur again. Never tried it when the engine/oil was cold so I doubt that is related. This sound familiar to any of you? |
