If we build it, would you buy it?
75 people say yes, and we'll do it up. No, I don't know how much it would cost, but plan on at least a thousand dollars for the bar retail.

We're also looking at suspension. Again, 75 trucks worth and we'll make the parts.
Responses please...

I have no clue what the deluxe bar looks like. Do you have any pictures on other models or design sketches?

I'm looking for lift kits now, but all I see is spacer kits. I've heard mixed reviews about them.

What are the downsides to a spacer kit? What type of lift will you be offering?

This is on my daily driver that will see some mild trails, mudding, and basic fooling around.

Yes I keep searching for arb products for the KK, Suspension, winches, I don't see why it is taking so long to see products being built for the KK, I wish the maufacturers who make items for the KJ would get on the ball for the KK. Yes I would definitely buy an arb bull bar for my KK and other things I need. Thank You, Matt

I had the Rubicon Express 2" Spacer lift installed on my KK Limited, and have had no problems or complaints after 2K miles, It really works well on the KK IMO and sits you up where I think you should be, You do need to take curves a little slower, but it is not an uncomfortable feeling. Off-road is improved dramatically allowing my Revo's to do their job while the Jeep does it's job. I hope this helps, I don't know of the downsides your referring too, I have not read or heard of any.

We'll do the usual... OME Suspension and a Deluxe bar for it.
The rig has been released in Australia and we're currently in the process of ordering one for R & D. Look for products in a few months.

Best regards,

Will any of the current ARB lockers work on the '08 Liberty?

The one for the rear 8.25 will, and I don't see why the D30 one wont work in the front of the KK even since they redesigned the front diff for the KK.

We won't know for sure until we get one here to do a test fit on. Diff's can change from model to model. The ring gear may stay the same size, but if they make a change to the carrier or the way the housing is assembled, the carrier itself may hold the gear but not fit into the housing... like the problem we're having with the JK's right now. It's still aD44 in there, but they moved the pinion so the 3.90 and up carrier doesn't fit the JK gears.

Long story short, wait until we say it fits before you buy it.

It's out of my budget right now....but having the added protection would be worth the cost. Heck, my dinky receiver bumper thing from pep boys saved my rear bumper already in a parking lot! Having the front end receiver would be easy to sell the wife, especially since she was driving the jeep when the lady behind her smashed into her! Speaking of...Rear bumper???

duh, stupid me :D

oh and on a side note

HI Nate,

Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation when you emailed me in August and I did ask about the KK when I saw your email. The news is not great. The new Liberty is a low priority at the moment and they have not yet started work on any products for it. I wish I had better news.

I know it's off topic, but every time I see the name "Mr. Anderson" somewhere, I start thinking of Agent Smith. 8)
