Anybody put an aftermarket hitch on their KK yet? I want one primarily for my bike, and I don't like the universal ones that latch onto the gate.

I want a hitch that is tucked up under the bumper nicely. Many I see on various vehicles hang very low and you can see the whole cross bar.

Thanks,
Nick

I installed the Curt class 3, 4 hitch. Very easy. Looks great.

I installed the same hitch as MNKK - easy to install (fitted in less than 1/2 hour). I bought mine from e-trailer.com - got a great deal and shipping was free after I have bumped up my final price by ordering the wiring harness for the lights. Good Luck.

They gave me oil changes for life... no bs. I didn't even ask.

But anyway, I just went to Uhaul 2 days after i got it, and asked for the best they had. Class 3 round-tube hitch without wiring (for now), 15 minutes, $180.

To MNKK, where does everybody get those hitch D-Rings?

Do you have any pics of your Uhaul hitch? I can't tell if I like the Curt or not based on the pictures. Is the factory Jeep hitch actually made by Jeep, or outside brand that Jeep just uses?

I don't know where everyone gets theirs, but I ordered mine from this site.
I ordered the middle priced one, and they called me two days later to tell me that they did not have any in-stock. They wanted to upgrade me to the next one up. Really a great company as far as I am concerned.

Looks good, although I was hoping it would be a bit more tucked under the bumper.

I only plan on using it for a bike rack. It's a pain in the butt to stuff my mountain bike in there all the time.

I do appreciate the pics though!

Yea, honestly that's all I wanted it for, too. I use a "FlatBed 2" rack, from my bike shop (Performance Bicycles)
