I saw a recent post on the forums about these, and got to thinking of how much I wanted them. Does anyone have them on the KK? Does it help any? I tried to find them online, but Cabela's had them listed as the same ones for the generation 2 kjs, all the way through 08 kks. I called them and let them know that it would not fit on the 08's. They disagree with me. Are they worth the money? |

I've seen them, they are available. I really want them so I can open the windows in the rain... however I already hit my hand on the window frame when I have my arm at the window, and a shade would make the window opening even smaller then it is already. D@mn being 6'6"! |

i got them from advanced auto parts and put them on every car i buy. They are worth the money for the look alone and the fresh air when its raining isent bad either, also when you had food in the car to air it out if you go somewhere and you dont have to worry about someone trying to get into your car well they still could but they would have to walk up and actually look to see if the window was open. as far as the guy tats 6'6 im 6 and i actually like that the ventshade is kinda like a grip it forms to my hand at least. hope that helps if you wanna order online http://www.autoanything.com/deflectors/ ... m_search=1 |

Just to let ya know from experience. I had inchannel vent visors on a van and really loved them....at least for first 4 years. After that, the constant rubbing of the window in the tighter channel took its toll and the window would tilt forward when trying to close it. You would have to constantly pull the window up as you raised the window to keep it aligned. I never took the door panel off to see exactly what was wrong... just lived with it until I sold my van. I have not tried the vent visors that are held on with 3M tape but want to try this for my liberty. As far as having the vent visors in general, I really loved them. The top of the door frame on the van was too tall to reach when my arm was resting on the window and the vent visor gave me something to hold on to. Also, enjoyed opening the windows a crack when it was hot outside and not javing to worry if it was going to rain. I would highly recommend them. |
