This is a link to another thread that is a Consumer Reports rating of all-terrain tires, they rate the geolanders 2nd.

Hello

Yes we are running the Geolanders on our Liberty and really like them so far. They are quieter then the stock tires and are wearing very well. Haven't had the chance to test them out a whole lot on ice and snow though......and my wife doesn't do much off-roading:)

I also had a set of 285/75/r16 bf goodrich all terrains on my dodge ram. They lasted about 45000k and one of them blew out (I check pressure at every fill up) on the inside, the tire didn't lose any pressure but became very deformed. Im now running toyo open country, same size, and i really like the look, I've got about 25000km on them and they are running great. Good snow traction

I have the goodyear silent armor 245/70 16 with more than 15k miles on them. I really like them for what they are. Not noisier than the stock crap it came with, much better handling now, they look good, I have not noticed a decrease in mpg and they seem to wear well too (i rotate often ) of course dont expect them to work like a mud tire offroad :? but thats true with any AT
