This might seem a noob-ish question, but I honestly don't know: what does it mean when you "de-badge" your Jeep?

Author:  Diggerfreek [ Thu Oct 16, 2008 8:29 pm ]
Post subject:

you remove any or all of badges on your jeep like the 3.7l badge, or on the kk, remove the word jeep from the hood

Post subject:

to de-badge is to remove the badges - like the '4x4' the 'CRD' or (3.7L) or 'trail rated' and especially any dealership labels

makes it look a lot cleaner.

FYI- the pictures are from the introduction tests of the KK - Clint was part of the test team and it included the European CRD's

well you'll just need a couple other little things to make it work. Like a transmission, motor mounts, wiring, computers, intake, probably driveline and engine cradle if they differ, front suspension for the added weight.

go for it dude, let us know how it works out
