Last image was taken because the CAL indicator would not stop blinking...... I havent read the manual yet but it is kind of disturbing.........
do you guys know whats the CAL indicator for??? I think it has to do with something of the COMPASS, but geez I dont really know

well thats about it:
Ill post more pics when my brother picks up his libby!!!!
hahahaha poor sucker! hes outta town: His libby arrived first at the dealership and he wouldnt pick it up because he wanted to pick his up at the same time I did....
Call me stupid, but I took my libby back to the dealership and Ill wait till next weekend to go with my brother to pick it up (again) Its only fair... I mean he waited like two weeks for mine..... I guess I can wait one more week

What do you guys think??? (about the libby not my stupid decision to wait another week to drive it   hahaha)

Sweet!!!! I like that they made the center console/arm rest with soft leather now. On the 08's, it's a hard plastic, very uncomfortable.

Yeah, I like the logo too. Make's me wish I had waited for the 09's. Do the 09's have rain sensing wipers? That's the only thing I am missing on my 08.

Yeah thanks!
I see (thanks to this forum) that there are a lot of bugs for the 08.... I also hope the 09s are out of bugs.

I hope that the CAL indicator is not a bug.... well see.

I think the CAL indicator is for calibrating the compass. There should be a setting somewhere in the EVIC that tell's it to stop calibrating. 3

This is from the manual:

Automatic Compass Calibration
This compass is self-calibrating, which eliminates the
need to set the compass manually. When the vehicle is
new, the compass may appear erratic and the EVIC will
display “CAL” until the compass is calibrated. You may
also calibrate the compass by completing one or more
360° turns (in an area free from large metal or metallic
objects) until the “CAL” message displayed in the EVIC
turns off. The compass will now function normally.
EVIC.
3. Press the SCROLL button until “Calibrate Compass”
displays in the EVIC.
4. Press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button to
start the calibration. The “CAL” indicator will display in
the EVIC.

Not a problem. You should download the owners manual form Jeep in PDF format. It's nice to be able to search a document rather than thumb through the thick owners manual. Here's the link, just select your model/year from the drop down.

hehe, on the 08's they did that too, except it was drawings of the commander to depict places on the vehicle.

Talk 'bout being cheap :?
Anyhow, did you solve your issue with the liftgate not going up all the way???

Well, It solved itself when the sun came up. :)

I am chalking that one up to being too cold in the morning with no sun. Been dealing with rattles throughout the KK for some time. Dealer ripped apart the dash, but couldn't find the problem to fix it. They said they will replace the entire instrument cluster to fix one of the problems.

I have the premium group II package in mine, but no skyslider, just the sunroof. I love the MyGIG (now called uconnect or uconnect studios I guess) and the heated leather seats. Aside from the Rattle issues, I love the KK and am very happy I purchased it (upgraded from a KJ).

premium group II and no auto sensing wipers???hmmm Id talk to my stealership about it..... Im thinking its a limited... so it should have the auto feature.

I have the auto headlights, but I think the auto sensing wipers showed up in later build dates of the KK (mine was built in Jan. 08 ) My KK is the red rock. I have always had silver vehicles, and looking at yours, the silver looks great on the KK.

Hey guys,

I just put my money down on a Limited KK being built for me from the factory. Delivery time is January. I got the Jeep Green/Tan interior w/Selec-Trac, Premium Group 1, skid plate group. I wasn't interested in any kind of sky-slider/sun roof. I also did not want the 18" wheels, and the rest of Premium Group 2 didn't appeal to me except for Cabin Filtration. I made sure to get the Uconnect studios, and obviously the leather heated seats comes with the Premium Group 1 and I liked the updated (albeit slightly) interior on the '09 Limited vs. the '08's.

Looking forward to the delivery. I had them send for a Mopar CAI to be installed before I pick it up. I had my girlfriend order me the Jeep Liberty slush mats for Xmas. Next up (I don't even have it and I'm planning....) I'd like to get a quality 2.5" lift (not just some spacer kit) and perhaps a ARB locker if there is one that will fit.
