Dang I'm getting shivers just looking at those pics - glad it was 70 down here today :P

Looks good, so how long did the install take? Did it seem doable by folks with general mechanical ability and decent tools or is it something best left to a shop?

so how many inch lift is that?
different brake lines or stock?
Is that JBAs lift ?

Have 2 customers asking me to lift theirs so just wondering what I am getting into

ok, to start, this is the jba 4 inch lift, I have not measured yet, but i like the looks of it. I started at 9 in the morning and after a fighting match with the rear driver brake line that lasted over 2 hours, it started to go pretty quick. the passenger side front is pretty easy while the drive side is some what of a nightmare due to the power distribution block mess. I will tell you that both ted and marty were amazed at how easy it was to assembly the front. the stock lines up front still have some slack in them even at full drop. This kit can be done in a weekend( probably 2 days if its just one person with out much mechanical handiness). The only part i would have professionally done is the rear brake lines as i said, the drive side blow, but all in all they say that it is just like a kj lift.

Two days to install are you really serious? Can not see where it would be that much harder than the KJs to lift? Going to have to tell them it will be a little more than what I told them then!

Nice I want one :D

Looks like the front is lower than rear just like stock. do you think a 1/2 to 3/4 clevis lift would cause problems? also do you have choice of heavy duty or medium duty coils like the kj? How much lift did you get? Can you snap a pic of CV angle? is it extended swaybar arms on the rear? I see you still have the stock rear trackbar, do you really need an ajustable one? When will you get some meat on the rims ? how big ? do I sound like a kid whos asking too much questions ?

Glad to see it works 8) now you can claim to have the most lifted KK in the world

To the Lizard's house ---- 1.5 hrs.
From the Lizard's house - 2.5 hrs.
Arriving home with a beautiful KK. Freakin' Priceless

But your math is kinda funny. Did you get L.O.S.T-ified on the way home?

if you have a large garage, NO SNOW, and don't have to run to the parts store a couple of times, and no distractions, it should go in 6 hours or less pending you don't run in to troubles with the drive side rear brake line.

yes, it is about an inch lower if you have a full tank of gas, right now at 1/2 tank, it is 1.25 higher in the rear. right now, there are still two spacer plates i could install on the strut and a 1/2 inch clevis would bring you a full inch high in the front. as far as springs go, you would have to get with rock lizard or JBA to find out what i have. I will have total lift figures as soon as i can get soem measurements from a stock KK. I will post CV angles in just a minute, yes, the sway bar end links in that rear are extended, I do have the stock track bar for now. We have sent back the info JBA so we can get a new bar due to the fact that the rear link that was sent had bushings that were to big, but even at this height, i'm only off 1/8th of an inch in that rear. as far as an adjustable one, we will have to see what is made. Meat  , when i find a money tree  ... and as far as the questions, I would be doing the same thing

Now it's time for some big beefy MT's:D

slightly off topic though for Troy or anybody...

Anybody think the LCA and knuckle could be swapped onto the KJ? ThunderbirdJunkie is jealous of the balljoint being in the LCA:(

YOUR KK SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
I THINK IT LOOKS STOOOOOOPID

NOT!
It was really nice to put that lift on it! I think what you might just need is to take your beast offroad to really test its new potential =)
Congrats Digger!
hey, what kind of wheels you have in there? I guess im going to be looking for a new set of wheels for my kk to be trail rated :? :?

Wow...that looks awesome. I wish we had a pic next to a stock set-up for some perspective.

I was worried 4 inches would be far too high, but it doesn't seem like that much.

Digger, if you ever have a chance to snap a shot next to a stock KK, it would much appreciated.
