So the $793 only gets you the front kit. Yeah not sure who would only get the front kit. I guess it would lift the front up about 1" higher than the rear so you would have a slight california lift. Or you could have a spacer lift in the back, but doing that would only save you in parts $50.... Not worth the savings!
I do have some questions:
1. Why would one want the AL's A-arms? What do they do for you??
2. What is the difference between the Hydro and Nitro Gas shocks?? If towing does it matter?
3. What are the quick disconnects??
Thanks!
ok I can answer most of them for you
The new arm's do many things.
1. they correct the caster angle because the lower a arms can only be pull in so far.
2. because they are longer that stock arms, it corrects ball joint angles
3. also they provide a grease able serviceable ball joint. other wise, when the upper ball joint goes, you have to replace the who a arm
hydro- uses fluid damping disc where as nitro use a gas over liquid charge
quick disconnects, they allow you to disconnect the front sway bar so you can gain more articulation, but as far as i know, he doesn't have any ready due to the fact that the kk is different from the kj
1. Are the A-arms needed for a 2.5" lift?
I would say no, how ever most kj owners strongly recommend it. also come alignment time, it will make it a lot easier2. Do A-arms give any more articulation? they could when you are at full drop. with the stock arms, you may come in to contact with the strut before you reach full drop
3. What happens if the upper ball joint goes? while driving??
4. Do A-Arms allow for bigger tires? I want to fit 235/85R16 BFG or 265/75R16 Not sure which one is a better tire. They do fit with a 2" lift but a think the 235's might be better with articulation.
5. When would one disconnect the front sway bar? Is this something you would do while off-roading only or just at times while off-roading or what??
6. What are the advantages of Hydro (Fluid) versus Nitro (gas) shocks?
Thanks so much!

2. They could when you are at full drop. with the stock arms, you may come in to contact with the strut before you reach full drop
3. Bad $h*T most likely ending in death if going at any rate of speed above 15 mph
4. they don't with tire size in most respects, but because they are slimmer in design, you can probably fit a wider tire in there
5. off roading
6. so far my hydro shocks feel weird to me. in the past i have always run gas shocks. what i can tell you is the hydro shocks are "softer while driving" where as the gas will be stiffer
