So I was looking at Rams with my buddy who wants a truck and the salesman told me that last week they were selling you a 08 Liberty for $1 if you bought an 08 Ram at full msrp. $37k for both a new Ram 1500 and an 08 Liberty sport. No wonder I've been seeing a lot of KKs on the road lately.

that definitely is not good for the KKs

I wouldn't get too uptight about this being specific to the KK. Dealers are having a hard time selling vehicles and are doing lots of gimmicky tricks to get people to buy them. Here in Denver, one of the Kia dealerships was doing a buy one get one free sale. (Buy a Sedona, get a Rio). One dealership in Miami was selling 2 Dodge Rams for the price of one.

Even if it were, you buy it for $1, then finance 20k to do an Atlas and D44/D60 with 37s, and then you've already got the tow rig!

Win/Win situation!

Yep its true, what they were doing is they would finance the full price of the Ram and apply the rebates of both vehicles toward the price of the Liberty. The nice part is they wrote up the sales price of the Liberty as $1 so you weren't raped to bad on sales tax and plates.
