Hello all, Here is some info from ARB: Quote: James
We’ve been asking around for several months to test demand for the KK. If you can get me 50 people that want an ARB Bull Bar for the KK with names; I’ll set it up so a dealer can buy them and we’ll have them made. As for suspension, we’d need 75 trucks worth to make that happen. Otherwise we haven’t seen the demand for the product yet. As for Diff’s, it still runs a Chrysler 8.25 in the back and a D30 in the front, so the RD93/RD100 combo will fit just fine. Hope that helps, Best regards, Seth Green Gov't & Military Contract Manager Western Sales Manager ARB USA Can we use this post as a way of getting some feedback from KK owners? Please answer the poll and write a quick response to confirm how you voted so that we can show Seth who is interested. No other posts in the thread, please. |

I voted for both, though I am speaking to Marlin at Jeepinbyal.com about his 2.5" lift. |

Sticky it is. I know they have a KK, but they say that they are backed up HI Nate, Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation when you emailed me in August and I did ask about the KK when I saw your email. The news is not great. The new Liberty is a low priority at the moment and they have not yet started work on any products for it. I wish I had better news. I think i read the the front diff is the same as a jk Dana 30/186MM Front Axle |

ARB do not have a KK at all, this info is absolute rubbish. I have been in contact with ARB and attached is their response. Keith Thanks for the e mail. After contacting the R & D section of Old Man Emu i have discovered that there are no plans at this time to develop a suspension kit for your model.I would suggest you contact our local stockist ARB Tamworth on 67 620 541 who may be able to suggest an alternative. Regards Garry This is the response I got from Garry Firth from ARB. He can be contacted by Email, gfirth@arb.com.au |

I hate to break my own rules, but I have to respond here. You are right, its rubbish and I lied. Seth Green is a figment of my imagination, and so is his contact info: Office: 425 264 1391 sethg@arbusa.com Perhaps there is a lack of communication between ARB USA and ARB corporate, but that is a far cry from "rubbish". Further, a little research would correlate my initial post to the following member of this forum: ARBSeth. Click on the link and you will see his initial attempts to drum up interest in ARB products for the KK. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... ht=#333795 |

The only thing I'll say is that in a year, if the KK doesn't get an aftermarket following like the KJ has.... I'll be so disappointed. Especially in my most favorite company: ARB. |

Hey Guys, I've gotten several emails from the board the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I've got nothing new to report right now. With the numbers we're seeing here and in Australia, KK product is going to be back burnered until more demand floats up. Keep this thread going, though... with the right info, I can go to a Liberty friendly distributor here in the US and set something up. Keep in mind that it's a lot of commitment in cash for us to build up a new car. 50 rigs bare minimum for the bumpers and 75 for a tuned suspension. So hit up your buddies, pass the word and if you say you'll buy it, I can have it built. Keep the faith... ARB Guy out. |

OK, this will probably be the last time I bring this up. It would seem as thought that we kk owners only have a few choices. The choices are: 1. To wait and see if RL will ever get to a front bumper (which is looking to be longer than a year at this current time) 2. Get Boblemoche to start production 3. Hit up the commander dude 4. BYO 5. Have some one local build one So far I think that #3 would hold the most hope. I have contacted trail ready and they said no. Just to back up arbseth, check this out http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=39025 So if you have any new ideas, let get them out there |

I'd buy an ARB winch bumper if they have one out for the KK after I receive mine, install rock rail sliders and a lift kit. I'm like Digger, I'm not feeling too optimistic about ARB producing a winch bumper and thinking I'll have to explore getting one made. |

17 Bumpers and 11 suspensions? Is that all we can do here? This is not helping! Get the word out, and get me some votes! Thanks, |

Is that all we can do here? This is not helping! Get the word out, and get me some votes! Thanks, Seth, I think part of the problem on the suspensions is that while you guys are holding out (for your own good reasons), others have stepped up and produced quality kits. I think the consensus is that JeepinbyAl's kit, although expensive, is an excellent item. Meanwhile Rock Lizard is showing us consideration with some external products such as sliders and I believe soon to be roof racks. How long do you think it will be before we see a bumper from them? Take this back to ARB: We got your message, times are tough and you want an assured/timely return on investment. That's a gamble, because while ARB is legendary for quality...we'll find alternatives and you'll be locked out of the market by at least the first generation of buyers. There's a guy on this board who is already sick of waiting and is manufacturing his own bumper with talks (albeit lighthearted) of marketing them to members. Personally, I'm going for the Jeepin'byAl lift, and I hope to give my locker business to ARB if there are products that will work for the KK NOW....if not, again I'm sure someone will get her done. |

I would surely be "down" for a decent price. It may be a while before I can afford anything anyway. |
