Sooooo what did everyone get for christmas? I got cash, and then a plane ticket and a week in Hawaii with the family in March. Nothing Jeep related... but with the cash it's either going to be Jeep Accesories or surround sound at the hosue to go with the blu-ray and HDTV I bought earlier this year. |

Rims are 17x8 and I'm planning on running General Grabber AT2 in 255/65/17. I only have two tires in at work right now, other two are on back order from General. They stopped making certain sizes of that tire, and don't know when they will restart! |

yep im the one with gears but not lifted yet mods I want to do by the end of next summer if money allows it: custom front bumper with winch (something lighter and smaller then the kj arb) custom rear bumper with reciver hitch built in for better departure angle (got rear ended so this is a must anyway custom light bar on top air intake that goes inside the jeep or snorkel with everything else needed to play submarine alloy axle shafts and diff cover for 8.25 4'' lift or more: I might get jba 4'' lift and modify it a little. Im waiting to see if Digger's KK will fall apart 16'' alloy rims with more offset than stock to avoid wheel spacers if possible 33'' tires 285/75 16 baja claws or 255/85 16 BFg Km2's not decided yet 1 1/4'' driver seat lift mods I already have: arb locker front and rear with 4.56 gears bad @$$ skid plates and rock sliders tow hooks (will get replaced by bumper shackles ) clevis lift ( might get rid of it depending on how the 4'' + lift turns out) |

If you could show pics or maybe write a how to I am sure some of us less knowledgeable could greatly benefit from it. |

ok if you look at the picture, the "strut fork is the item that is on either side of the half shaft. the strut fork is then bolted donw around the bottom of the strut assembly. you can add spacers in between the strut and the fork. Boblemoche, what did you use as a spacer P.S. I try every day to brake it |

I had already PM'ed Boblemoche, and he didn't use a spacer. Just made the gap even on both sides, and clamp it back down. If the weather holds out, that my place for this coming weekend. |

yep no spacers on my clevis lift but there is more space between the clevis and strut there is just no spacers to fill the gap and it has not moved a hair in 5 months. its already hard to move the clevis even unclamped. I had to use some pry bars. sry I dont have pics but its very easy to do and theres a very good post somwhere in the kj sections that explain in detail how to do it Quote: how are those arb's in there. get stuck yet?
those lockers are awsome. much better than esp. esp/arb is like comparing full time awd to part time awd. last trail I did there was this steep hill and I could climb it at 1 mph steady where all the others (tj's , xj's, pickup's with much bigger rubber than me ) had to gun it. Its also a lot of fun to watch the priceless faces of the passengers when i tell them that not only those buttons are not stock but it will activate a compressor and I can inflate my tires |
