I am now an official member. Picked up my '09 KK today. Jeep Green Limited w/Premium Group I, Skid Plates, Sat./Blue Tooth, etc, tan interior. Also went with the Jeep slush mats too. Next up....2" or 4" lift from jeepinbyal.com and some nicer tires....oh, and Silverstar headlights. |

I'm going to my camp with it tomorrow. I'll bring back some pictures for you boys.....no trail riding until I get my lift though! I'm still deciding between the 4" and the 2.5". I want to be able to fit a 30.7" tire, but I'm worried the 2.5" won't cut it. Digger, have you bought new rubbers yet? (not the trojan kind)... |

hahaha...I hear you. I had cash...until today. I scrapped between the couch cushions and found enough change to take care of the lift and some tires, but that will be it for a while. Long term, I'd like to drop an ARB locker in the rear. |

I'm looking at these ones: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... es&place=0 Click on the specs to see the measurements. As for the lift, I'd like to stay with the 2.5", and add the A-arms and brake lines. Then part of me says I should just go with the 4", but I'm thinking the 2.5" ought to suffice. I'm not a hardcore offroader. I might screw around 3 or 4 times a year....I really just want the clearance to get over the snow at my camp...driveway is a bit rough and a long way to walk to fire up the tractor and plow for 2 - 3 hours. |

i'm not a fan of crap year, but to each his own I think the 2.5 would work well for you. the extra stiffness in the ride/ handling is well worth the money to me. and to be honest, i my be going crazy, by my brakes feel way stronger with the steel lines in the rear |

Meh. Yeah I agree with ya Digger... I'm not a fan of goodyear. Wish my couch had enough change between the cushions to fund a lift and new tires. |

dont compare the useless crap chrysler put on your jeep with the wrangler silent armor. I have a set of theses and they are 100X better |

the st's are crap and are not even worth bringing up. when i think of their tires, i think of past vehicles either my friends or family have had. the silent armors we put on my dads 2500 ram sucked beyond all belief |

I was merely voicing an opinion that I feel their products are inferior after having multiple types of tires on my vehicles. Personally I'm a firestone/bridgestone fan. |

I got some pics and will post asap. For those of you who dislike the Goodyear brand, what would you suggest for an on road/off road tire? I'm looking for something that has nice tread, will be superior to the current tire for winter conditions, and will be no larger than 30.6" (the size of the Wrangler Silent Armor that I was looking at). I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for the tire, as long as it is worth it. Digger, do you think I'll be able to fit (without rubbing) that 30.6" tire under my vehicle with a 2.5" lift? Keep in mind that the springs may settle.... |

Nice upgrade! I traded in a 2001 Blazer Xtreme for my Liberty. I like how the lower center section of the bumper is painted gray on the Limited models. I think I'm going to paint mine black. |
