Hmm but with the 18'' wheels the skid package would be kinda useless right? The 18" wheels make it instantly not trail rated according to Jeep.

Well the skid plate package is a must...... you never know what (or who) you are going to run over...
As far as the 18's go.... They look better (IMO) but they are cheap as hell!!! They have a plastic cover to simulate the chrome!
at least the 16 and 17 are WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)

just get what-ever wheels are the cheapest and just replace them when you buy the KK with some good ones, like some 15" or 16" Cragars

Hopefully July... I don't know though, it might have to be longer than that. It all depends if I can make the payments and all that jazz.

The part I don't understand is that the 18 inch wheels have a chrome clad, basically a plastic covering our the rim. I have been told your jeep will not be trail rated for this reason because the chrome clad would not last on the trail, because the plastic on the rim wont last your not trail rated? Is their a problem with the 18 inch tires that make it non-trail rated.

A fact to keep in-mind if you order premium group II you will not have a trail rated badge.

to be real honest I kinda prefer premium group II over the trail rated badge... you can always change your wheels but you cant always add as easy the pgII options
