Started at 10pm tonight, took about a 45 min break, and finished the front around 2:15 am. Took longer then I thought, but I was working at a leisurely pace. Hardest part was getting the stupid battery box out of the way! Well that and compressing the springs enough to easily assemble it with the spacer in there.

Sorry no pics yet, but it sits a good 1.5" higher then when I had the clevis lift. I put the clevis back to stock for now. I'll wait to see how it looks when I get the back done, then maybe I'll go back in and do the clevis lift again. Then of course an alignment.

Should have pics Sunday sometime.

Goodnight...

It's done, looks great! Brought it back in the garage while the heat was still on so I can clean the interior.

Garage heater sure comes in handy!

Wow!....lots of daylight under there. What size tires? Looks like enough clearance with the lift.

It just grazes the back of the inner fender by the pinch weld at full lock, but no real pressure so I'm not worried about it.

Up front it was catching the edge of the lower bumper (body color part) where the air darn would clip on. Quick pass with the sawzall and all clear. 8)

1/2" more backspacing and I think it would have fit perfect with no rubbing.

Mr Nick,

To confirm, so you think if you had mounted your 255/65R17's (10.0"Wx30.05"OD) tires on 17x8 rims with 5" of backspacing instead of 4.5" you would not have had any rubbing with your 2" lift installed (and uncompressed)?

Thank you.

I have 265-65 on 17x8 with 5-1/4BS and the REVTEK 2" lift and have no issues.

With the factory wheels the tires appeared too small. With 1-1/4" spacers they rubbed at full lock.
Changed the wheels and the tires fill the wells just right and with no rubbing.

There ya go, more backspacing to keep the wheel/tire tucked inside! Proof in the pudding.

Mine worked after some effort, just needed some trimming
