FYI, Chrysler LLC has reported their 2008 U.S. Sales. Items of quick note to Liberty KK owners, or potential owners, include (in terms of units sold):

1-The Jeep brand sold within 1/2% of the Chrysler brand in total units for the year.
2-Of Jeep's 6 models, the Liberty KK was 3rd in sales at 66,911 Libertys sold in the U.S. in 2008 (just 9% below the #2 Grand Cherokee).
3-The Jeep brand experienced sales growth in December over November while the rest of the auto market struggled.
4-Liberty sales were down 27% for the year, but that is not as bad as the overall Jeep brand which was down 30% for the year. The entire Chrysler LLC sales were also down 30% for the year. Like other automakers, the current short-term challenges of the economy is hurting.
5-These numbers do no include 2008 International Sales for which I couldn't readily find a breakout of model sales.

I glanced around on-line and wasn't able to find any manual vs. automatic breakout information on the KK.

Surely someone (lurking?) on this board works for Jeep.... ....it would be nice if they stepped up and pointed us toward any appropriate information on the KK for those of us actively supporting that market......
