Looking to put some new tires on my Jeep. I don't want to lift it just yet. Will BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire, LT245/70R17 fit with no rubbing? |

I don't know about 17's but my 245/75/16's fit with out a lift. However at full lock it does rub a little if the suspension compress's. I would recommend a lift even if it is a budget boost. |

Both of you have the same diameter at 30.6,so what KKJIM says is what you'll get.I have 240/70-16 on my KK and they are 29.5,I think they feel perfect without a lift. |

Hey Digger, I wanted to put some BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire, LT245/70R17 on my 08 Liberty Limited 4x4. Got some good info. from the other fellas but I was wondering if the tire would fit without a lift etc. Plus, why in 4lock does it only rub vs. 2 wheel drive? KKJim stated that he has tires that size but they rub in 4lock.......I want a cool mudder but don't want to lift due to voiding the warranty basically. I can't find anything in the stock size that I would buy. I want an aggressive tire etc. Richd, what tire are you running with the 240's? Peace |

Peace KKjim said full lock and not 4 lock I think you will be fine with 245 75/16 if you dont go offroad. also you should ask your dealer if a 2'' spacer lift will void your warranty. going to larger may void your warranty too |

yeah, full lock sounds better.... since the 245 is wider than the 225 it may rub unless you change the BS of the rim... It is going to be tighter in the wheel well but the 245 is only .5 inches taller... but it should fit... |

Digger and Boblemoche, Thanks for the info! Is there a 2" spacer lift that you guys recommend? I wouldn't mind keeping the same current size 235/65r/17 if I could find an aggressive tire but no luck there. Nothing but streat tires. 95% of my driving is highway - 60 miles per day back and forth to work. |
