I was looking to see what used 08 KK were going for on Ebay and various sites and man they have sure dropped quick.
I have a loaded (every option) 08 that stickered in the mid 30's and I have seen some for sale in the 20K range with under 20 thousand miles these last few weeks.
I traded in a 06 Commmander for a used 08 with a few miles on it about a year ago but I find myself upside down and will be for some time. It is a good thing I like it. Can't wait for spring so I can use my Sky Slider!

wouldn't worry about it to much right now. Most dealers are taking it in the shorts just to move products. If the economy ever improves, resale/total value should return to where it was last year

last year resale on SUV's was terrible because of gas prices. I got in too much of a hurry and traded in my Commander in the middle of all that and now I am paying for it.

i understand your concern, on the other hand of the spectrum, if the car market goes in the direction of stupid cars, i mean smart cars, i have a feeling jeeps and things will appreciate on the private market rather than depreciate

i drove my last DD from 93 till 09, i plan to drive my renny twice that, when the engine goes I'll swap it, when the fenders rot, i'll fabricate new ones,
when the emp bombs destroy the electronics.. i'll mad max the sucker and mount a MK19 ontop of it, truss the frame with railroad ties and bolt/weld steel and iron plates to it ! well.. maybe not that far.. but you get the drift hehe
