| Post subject: | NEED HELP ASAP!!! |
OK, I've been throwing a check engine light for the past few weeks and just now got around to looking into it. I bought an OBD II reader (everyone should have one of these) and checked the code. The code is PO113 (Intake Sensor) so I figured it was because of my K&N intake so I just wanted to erase the code and forget about it. Well it wouldn't erase ... After further inspection of my engine bay I found this ... (pic below) There is a wire that got cut and is now missing it's sensor. Can someone please take a pic of their engine bay and show me where this sensor is supposed to go so I can order a new one from the dealership ... THANKS!!! There is a harness just to the left of the alternator with 5 leads from coming from it ... You can see the missing one here.

you lost the Intake air temp sensor. looks like it got cut by the fan. There should be a spot in you intake for the sensor. Give me 5 minutes and I will have a picture and a part number for you |

Digger, you are the man! I wish there were more people like you out in the world. Quick to help out. Man, that's a trait you see less and less of these days. You're a good example for others to follow, myself included. |

Will the dealership have the female end? They should be able to get it with the correct pins...NAPA might be able to get it to |

| Post subject: | UPDATE |
Well after going to 3 local junk yards and not finding a newer model Jeep, I ended up just ordering the parts new. Temp Sensor Wiring Harness (5014003AA) = $26.90 Intake Temp Sensor MOPAR (4606487ab) = $33.25 In order to get the female end I had to order the wiring harness. The wiring harness is a special order and I should have it in 7-10 days. The sensor was in stock. Once again thanks Digger for the help!!! |

Not a problem... It's sad that you had to order the harness |

The harness is cheaper then the sensor ... I thought it would be the other way around. It does suck that I have to order all that but it was my mistake. I wasn't paying attention when I finished installing my intake and that's what I get ... Oh-well Live and Learn!!! |
