I just picked up an 2009 Jeep Liberty Limited - - - on the way home I tried the heated seats and hazards (along with the other items on the bottom row of buttons) nothing was working or lighting up. Any chance this is just a fuse not working? |

Probably not a fuse since the hazards and heated seats do not share a fuse... Most likely the switch panel is defective and or was never plugged in at the factory |

HEY!!!! MINE TOO!!! when I drove off the dealer I found out that my panel was not working! I took the center console off and there was a plug in there that was not connected.... I plugged the thing in and it worked! |

It'd be interesting to know what your respective build dates are... |

Ill check later this afternoon.......... but my brothers kk as well as mine have the same build dates and heres what Ive found about mine: *the plastic on the liftgate (the one that "covers" the latch for the glass) was not properly installed.......... two hooks that hold the piece in place were not inserted on the respective latches. *the seal of the glass liftgate was not installed as it should...... some leaking occurred but a 40 second repair fix the problem and there were a few more but I cant remember them.... |

The dealer disconnected the bank of switches when the installed the worng ipod cable ... it fixed now. It's amazing how quick (less than 10 minutes ---from drooping off my keys to getting them back) it was to do that but I am sure when I get the correct iPod cable installed it will take much longer to tear down the dash and install the iPod cable. |

I can have my dash apart in less than 30 minutes..... goes even faster if I have a double gulp |
