Post subject:  KK's first real snow

Well, we finally got a real snow event, 8 inches (and it was just 65 degrees here last week!!!!), and I must say, the KK handled like a dream on my unplowed neighborhood roads. I was a bit concerned since I have the Premium group II with those stupid 18" wheels and crappy tires, but like I said, it handled like a dream. The only thing that called attention to my brain, was when I was making a sharp left turn to turn back into my driveway, it made some strange noise, but I think that's normal when you are in 4HI ( I seem to recall my KJ's making the same noise).

Same here... (first real snow). I did go out in the last minor snowstorm we had a month ago. But, this is much better. I will say the only thing I don't like, is the stupid tires. The front doesn't have hardly any grip (4wd lock all day) Can't wait to change them off!

It has been interesting today, after getting a full tank of gas. Have had to get out and push one Merc convertible, a 350Z convertible, a 1st gen MR2, and had pulled out one Z3, one RAV4, and used my vehicle as an anchor point for a Camry that a tow truck was having trouble pulling off a guardrail.

Your just right up I95 from me (i'm in Lake Ridge) so you must have roughly the same amount of snow. I can't imagine a Z3 or MR2 going out in this.

Notice how, if I post in a thread, it suddenly dies? ... ...

Anyway, it was quite fun to have some snow under the wheels of a new jeep. Today, is beautiful.... for de-badging the rear-end, and some mtn biking at Wakefield Park.

Don't worry about it. It does happen from time to time. It seemed like a little black cloud followed me for a couple months, but it did pass :D
