So I have a question as to why every time I get a call regarding my new purchase or recent service do they want a perfect score or they bend over backwards to make it right? Is it really that the dealership wants every customer to have the best possible experience or is it something else? Are they motivated by something else from Chrysler?

High customer satisfaction has a major role in the general managers end off year bonus.

I think it's more basic than that.

Happy customers come back.

Does it matter? People always complain when they don't get treat like royalty and now you do and you think there is something behind it? How about just wanting to make sure you are happy with what you got. You bought a car costing somewhere in the range of 20k+ ... It's not a $50 pair of shoes. They want to make sure you are happy with that purchase and that if you not how can they make you happy. Would you rather them treat you like crap?

ya see the same sort of tactic with other businesses like Termite control etc.

If dealers do the same deal that hte termite controls and such do, the head manager or general manager or whatever for each dealer's bonuses depend on the rating as TJKJ said, plus better managers may get shifted around to higher volume dealers and what not as well
