Anyone ever have this problem - I have the auto up feature on the driver side window, and a couple of months ago it stopped doing it's "auto up", had to hold up the switch. After the KK was shut down for about 15 mins, it started working again. Didn't do it again until yesterday, and then today. Strange. Anyone experience this?

I have a similar issue, sometimes when it is very cold it doesn auto up but then after about 5 or 10 minutes it starts to work properly. Dealer said they would replace the regulator but I rather not have them rip the door apart if its not going to solve the issue. has anyone else had this?

How do you know if it won't fix the issue if you don't try it. It's a warranty job so no money out of pocket. The more people that get warranty jobs or anything done for that matter and report the resolve here the more we can learn about the KK and fixes.

They "reset the module" (so they said) and that fixed the issue.

Thanks, I forgot to mention that I had the switch bank replaced and also the window was recalibrated, that seemed to keep it working for a bit but then it happened again, your right mike i'll have them take care of it next time i'm in and see if that does it.

I know after off-roading, that often when trying to take the window up, it will bind and stop. Usually, you can see it is tilted forward or back. This is actually covered in the Owner's Manual. Take the window back down and then hit the up button while pulling up on the window's low end to get it realigned. After doing this, it always goes back to working great for me (and I have to use my auto up and down every work day).

Just noticed tonight that my auto up isn't working anymore either.

Left a parking garage, and after paying, tried to up the window, but no go...

I guess I'm in for another trip to the dealer in the near future. Any TSBs out for this that I'm not aware of?

just to clarify things does everyone know that the 2008 and 09 libertys only have auto up on the drives side but auto down on both, the 2010 came with auto up and down on both sides

yup - I'm aware that only the driver's window on mine is auto up...

However......

I wonder if you could order the switch cluster from the '10 models and make all four auto up? Anybody? :pepper:

only the fronts are auto up... the rears are normal

Brendon, book it in, we will probably put in new regulators. There is a bulletin for the KJs and there is also one for the Grand Cherokees and we are having issues with the early KKs too.

See you soon I guess.

is this the only calibration procedure that you can do for the auto up/down on the drivers side?

Run the window to the full up position and continue to hold the switch for an additional 2 seconds.
Run the window to the full down position and continue to hold the switch for an additional 2 seconds.
Again run the window to the full up position and continue to hold the switch for an additional 2 seconds.
Lower the window all the way down then press and release the switch to the express up position.
