Will any part work going from a comander to a liberty. In part I like the Comander Front bumper. I was wondering it would be a plug and play match.. if not no biggy. just wondering.. I like the lights in the bumper look. |

I asked the same thing on another forum (when I first got mine) and was promptly told off. |

All questions are welcome. Also if you fell you have a question that you would rather not post, just pm me. To answer you question, as far as I know, there are only a few mechanical things that would cross over such as the engine and rear axle housing and not much more. The commander shares a lot with the grand cherokee . The front bumper would not be a plug and play type pf thing since the commander is wider and the front end is different. |

I had a Commander also. Park your Liberty next to a Commander and you will see that the Commander is much bigger overall. There are some off the shelf parts like the radio and some interior parts that might be the same but I can't think of one body part that is the same, not even the rims will interchange. |

Thank you all 3 for the great info... well this bites sort of... Well I will have to think of other ways to add ligts. Heck even if it did fit, I would have to find ina junk yard, becuase I can not pay ful price... So all in all good to know... If any one tells you off for this type of question, they have issues. THey need to go in the bathroom and look in the mirror long and hard. |

any way there are a few options, 1. use the brackets from a compass or patriot.... can't remember which 2. use a jk hood light bar and drill your bumper 3. do something like this http://www.eagleproducts.com.au/products_unibar.php 4. or http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=41327&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 |
