Ok, I had hoped to keep this secret for a few more weeks but with the bumper removal write up I did, it wasn't going to happen...

well for one. I like having a larger side wall and two, Like I said, I have a set of chains that I want to use next winter to go to places that I probably shouldn't be. Because of the length of my rear brake lines, they would be killed buy chains on a stock bs rim or on a larger width tire. Now I know i could just zip tie them back or re adjust them, but I figure the 225's are a little cheaper for now. later down that road, I will get a larger tire |

digger so your now on your second set of all new 4 tires. that's a lot more money than just getting the first set the size you want and put the extra money into gears and other stuff. I'm going to get the 4" and 235/85r16 (31.7") all terrian. most people with the kj say the gearing is not really needed. they do state some power loss on the highay and if towing. I guess I'll find out as I do tow. |

well it is the third. I ditched the crap years for the KO's as soon as I go the KK and then got a second set of rims with some Michelins. I sold the Michelins and stock rims to my buddy for the cash to get the steel rims and tires... so in the end i have only paid for 2 sets that will last a long time |

if you get the right length, you won't have a problem with tire chains... but me being over cautious when I ordered, I got lines that are a little to long. I figure it is better to be to long than to short |
