| Post subject: | Finally ... New Wheels & Tires |
After a mix up with my initial order the new wheels and tires are finally on. 16x8 +25 255/70/16 NO RUB!!! It's a tight fit but nothing is rubbing. I even took my truck though a little off road area by my house and no issues. Everything seems to fit perfect. It works out to be a 30" tire. Its the +25 offset that is saving me from having any rubbing issues.

Looks wise I like my 18's better. BUT off road wise this was my best bet. There aren't many options for aggressive 235/60-18 tire and the ones that are available were very expensive. Dropping down to a 16" rim gave me a lot more tire options and also having a +25 offset gave me a lot more options. Stock I had 29.1" overall tire hight and now I have 30.3" overall tire hight. So now I have a better off road tire and I got 1" of extra clearance. |

That package looks great... The over all size looks great... Later on down the road if you added a 2.5 lift it will still look great.. good to know a +25 is the way to go for wider |
