Yeah the third one I bottomed out and just gave it some more power and that is when I felt the low4. There were some really hairy runs that I did not do and when I found the moderate ones it was getting dark. |

Well theirs always next weekend. Just make sure you have skids if you think you are going to bottom out. My gas tank skid saved my butt when I did a 3 point turn on it. |

Hey E2 don't be to scared as the Liberty is a very capable vehicle. Digger I think this is where Sway Bar Disconnects would be good. I think I will manufacture some soon. |

I think I may start at the front. I think with it disconnected a little more droop would be good. With the front disconnected E2 would have kept his front left on the ground. I will get some rod ends tomorrow and start playing. I have all of this week off. I need something to do. |

Yeah this is my fourth time out. 1st trip a fire road (sucked a corolla could have done it and the spot I tried to go up a steep hill a hump stopped me as I bottomed out hard!) 2nd trip Hungry Valley Recreational Park. Not bad they have a very steep man-made mountain and the liberty made it up not even using low4. Don't got a pic of that but I got this one down a little steep hill.
The black bottom part of the truck was about three fingers fro, the ground.
3rd trip took a trail with the LostJeeps / Lost Jeeps So-Cal from Silverwood Lake to Lake Arrowhead. That was a nice trail and there were a few spots one could go off the "fire-road" and play, but we were cleaning up the trail and the one that some people did take you needed to be lifted and have bigger tires. 4th trip was to this place up in Gorman. The most I have pushed my truck. And YES I want to go back next weekend and need a buddy. More pics. Hard to see how steep this spot was so this is the shot of me going straight up it, this is where a touched bottomed.
This is the same shot where the front driver tire is off the ground. Not much flex. How will the 4" lift and a-arms help?

it's all good. oh if you do disco the rear, just watch out that you don't lose the spring under full flex |
