... well performance wise how much better are the following

napa pads ( or any other brake pad for that matter)
SS brake lines
syn oil
slotted rotors

which are worth it and what was the effect of the change.

these have definitely been covered but my goal here is to learn and possible be convinced to do this as like my title says... i'm on the fence, but if its a great improvement over stock then its worth it to me

I have a set of napa adaptive one pads up front and they help. SS lines will also stiffen the pedal...

as far as the oil goes, I'm not going in to that for obvious reasons

rotors..??

alright so pads seem like they would be worthy of upgrading... instead of napa do any other brands come to mind that i can compare?

Hawk Performance Friction...had these with slotted rotors on my wrangler...good improvement over stock, especially since my stock rotors warped...lol

the only reason i can see for upgrading the stock stuff is if you are adding larger tires/wheels or anything else that increases the weight of the vehicle. the stock setup works good IMO

any reason in particular you want to do these mods?

oil, well you know my opinion from the other thread...lol

I really like your liberty... I wanted to ask though, is yours a 4x4? Is so, select trac or command track?

Just keep in mind better brakeing will give you more dust to a point.
Really great braking with give you ton of brake dust...

I has been runing a car with brake pads that where ment for the race track. As they needed to be really hot to stop you well.
After a few runs you had black wheel no matter what.

I just wanted to say this...

not all good pads dust heavley, but the better ones will dust more...

If it was my KK, I would start with SS lines and fresh brake fluid first.
Also lube the brake parts that move.

hAWK pADS, sTAINLESS sTEEL bRAKE LINES A GREAT ADDITION ESPECIALLY WITH 20" RIMS Slooted rotors are ok but stay away from cross drilled - then tend to crack. Not really designed for street use
unless you plan on spending alot of money and totally up grading system

You can also look into getting Backing plates to cover the wheel on the inside.

This will block people from viewing your brakes..

You can get these discs in black or chrome, or powder coat them any color.

but the do prevent cool air from crossing over, so in some cases these hurt more than help. it is looks thing
