the offset is -6 ... they might fit BUT they are going to stick out VERY far past the fender. There are 2 ways to get a lower offset 1- they can bring the face toward the backside of the wheel (which is what gives you that deep dish look 2- they can extended the back hub mounting surface of the wheel so that you don't have a deep dish but the wheel will still sit far off the hub. if I had to guess just based on the price alone chances are its going to be number 2 ... which I think defeats the purpose of having a low offset wheel. It's cheaper and easier just to extended the hub mounting surface then to set the face back. |

I just ran into issues trying to get a 16x7 to fit with the incorrect offset. The shape of the wheel well is not very forgiving for moving the wheel toward the outside, and I found that a 25mm shift caused me to rub front and rear at near full flex. |

john what size tries do you have? I'm running a 16x8 with a +25 offset and 255/65-16 tire. I don't have any issues. I can tuck my back wheel at full flex and I'm at stock height. Once I get it lift it should fit perfect. |

This is what I want to do when it comes time to replacing the stockers (I know they suck, but I should use them seeing as they came with) I just love the look of how that tire fills everything up, my biggest problem is all the tires look so stinking skinny on our KKs |

You will need to do the pinch weld mod and atleast a 2" lift for those. Those are 4.26" backspacing, I have 4.625" on our KK and have lots of room with 2" lift and pinch weld mod. I like wide offset wheels. I have -51mm on my Cummins. I hate wheels that stick in the wheel wells. To me it looks like it will tip over. |

He won't need to do any mods like lift or pinch welds until he decides how big of tires he will want. If you want to keep it around stock height 29" you will be OK without a lift or pinch welds. Now if you want to go bigger you can forget about pinch welds you will need to remove the whole fender flair because of how far they will stick out. Skin your Dodge calls for negative offset wheels. Our trucks have a stock offset of +40 which is what most cars have. We have more of a "tuner" style setup not a "truck" style which is what your Dodge has. |

Dead stock.. 225/75R16. But the offset was +15 for a difference of 25mm and that was enough to catch. |

Well I'm still debating on the lift I keep changing my mind 2.5 or 4 it really comes down to money I really don't feel like spending 4 grand and gear swapping to fit 1 more inch of tire so I'm thinking 2.5 with 245s another part of me says have some faith and the franky will come out for the kk???? Anyway I did have another rim that I liked the american racing tactic in black the backspacing is 4.97 so I think that that will look similer to the soft 8s I have with 4.5 am I right. |

I don't care if the tires are 235s on thar offset they will rub. FYI new Cummins come stock with 17x8 +49mm offset aka 6.25" backspacing. I know wheels!!! So don't preach to me! |

All the -6 offset will do is push the wheel OUT from the hub. He won't having rubbing issues on the inside with stock sized tires. He will never be able to tuck when he flxes but with only an 8" wide rim and such a low offset there is no chance he will rub with a stock sized tire. Also going this low with the offset, there is a good change you are going to have camber issues. |

You don't worry about my beast. Guys in Nor Cal and Hawaii have been running this set up for years with no issues. We have 3/4 and 1 tons, not little vehicals. The only problem is people always stopping and asking to take pictures of our trucks and ask us 20 question. I need to update my section, but here's our Ridin High Motorsports crew. http://ridinhighmotorsports.com/home.html |

Skin relax, I wasn't talking about your truck. The camber issue is in reference to running a -6 wheel on the Liberty. |

How does wheel backspacing affect camber on the suspension? |

Because as you go down in offset the further the wheel stick out. Going from a +40 to a -6 will cause the the wheel to stick out very far and with the weight of the truck will cause you to have negative camber. |

Also going this low with the offset, there is a good change you are going to have camber issues. But, in the same respect, the more-negative offset pushing the tires out further will also increase the radius through which the tire swings when turning. So, perhaps this is what can cause rubbing on the wheel wells or fenders when such an offset is applied? -SR- |

Was worse when not lifted, now it just grazes against it. |
