Hey ya'll, I was at my dealer yesterday and asked them about reflashing for my larger tires. This Jeep dealership does a lot of Wrangler modifications, and has reflashed them, but hasn't done many modifications to KK's (except what they did for mine when I ordered it). Anyway, after the service manager checked, he didn't believe what he was told so he had them hook up their electronic tool to my KK. He said on the 2008 KKs, there was an entire screen/page of settings they had access to and could change parameters on, but on the 2009 KK, there are only 3 items. He advised they looked through all possible screens and could not find any place to change tire size on the 2009s.

Anyone with a KK have any luck with or have any info regarding how to reflash the computer for larger tire sizes?

Please advise.

Sorry I can't be of help. I have been asking this question for over a year and have not found a concrete answer. Wish I had a starscan

It's called the "Pinion factor". I find it hard to believe that Chrysler would have removed this programmable option.

ESP killed most of the tunablility in newer vehicles.

So, does anyone know if this setting, or any other necessary setting to adjust for change in tire size, definitely exists within the electronics for the '09 KK and can be changed?

Not to rag on a good idea, but have you ever tried to talk to them and ask a technical question
