Post subject:  curious for some under hood pics
does anyone have pics of the hood without the liner?... i was thinking about doing a mod without the liner or maybe even cutting/ modding it. plus i want to figure out of i could put in some hood struts.. i hate the darn hood bar... even my dad's 90' dodge ram 2500 has spring that assist the hood up... might be a nice mod and i know the nitro has the brackets necessary to do it already so hopefully the jeep will too

darn thats exactly what i was doing for digger... i loxer if it could be fabricated or do you know if the mount was a little bolt on or something cause i'll find a diseased 07 nitro at a junk yard and unscrew the peice with no problems :twisted: ... if not you know of any pics up close of the lower ball mount?

I had that thought 2 years ago before I even had my KK.... Now it's been a while since I have looked, but i don't even remember seeing a place to screw in the balls :shock: :shock: , but I don't know where they are on the nitro

LOL Too funny. You are both over there looking for the same info.
There are ball mounts available, several different options have been used.
Still no info if the 07 Libby hood strut would work as far as dimensions.
I'm sure someone here could get the strut part # for an 07 Libby.

This would be a cool mod, Looking forward to the Pics!
