Maybe yours is rubbing because you have a CRD and the heavy weight of the diesel gave you a lower front end ride hieght.

That might be from the tire, but it looks like a stick or branch ripped it apart.... Is it broken on both sides and if not, is it riveted to the front bumper right there on the other side?

Yes CRD's are lower at the front. But, come on, it souldn't rub like that . The top end limit of the suspension is the same as the 3.7,
Maybe you didn't reach you suspension limits :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So has anyone had any rubbing issues off road with this set up besides the CRD?

Hey SkinInc69, did you have those 255/70- 16's when you were stock? Just wondering if there will be any rubbing. I am thinking of getting that size on the stock 16inch rim no lift. Just looking to get an A/T not M/T

I'm with digger on this one. I would be willing to bet something got caught between the tire and fenderwell.

DaveV,

Check out the sticky Wheel and Tire section. Photos of various set ups with wheel/tire combos. You'll find your 245-70 on stock in there I believe.

I'm going to mount a set of 245's or 255's - 70's in a few weeks on my stock rims. 30K on the original Good Years and past time to say bye-bye to those. I'll be using a 2" Daystar lift until I can raise the needed cash for skids and then coils. My off roading is limited, so the Daystar will give me what I need for now. My inspiration for lift/wheel/tire combo comes from SkinInc's rig. I'm hoping to get a rim/tire package deal. If not, I'll stick to the stock rims which I think are nice looking anyway.

Good luck
