So I just finished installing my hellas 500. Im VERY tired and I want to go to sleep. here are some pics
So there you have it. I installed them upside down (they are attached to the KK's chassis via a metal base I made and two self tapping screws hold them) I... I just dont know... im partial to this: My head is telling me that they should have been square.... I also think that I should have installed them on the grill just like MIKE08.... A friend that came to say hi told me "hey that rally look is gooood" so I dont know... I might be tired and I cant think straight but I know you guys can what do you think? and please honest opinions, even if it hurts! regards |

How is the light output on the road? They seem to be a little low to be able to get the most out out of them. Off-Topic ... Whats up with that KK behind you? It looks to be a copy of yours all the way down to the license plate. The last number is the only difference |

I think I need to aim them higher but yeah, its good Thats my brothers KK... it literally is a twin from mine. The only difference is the color. His is sandstone mine is silver Even the VIN is identical: His ends in 900 mine ends in 901 =) |

Some details I forgot to add: The switch is a stick on switch... no holes to drill there. Tow hooks are NOT blocked by the lights.....Even though they would certainly break in case I did some towing since they are SOOOO CLOSE to them The lights will not turn on while the kk is off... and basically, thats about it |

what do you think? and please honest opinions, even if it hurts! regards I'm not a fan of the combo. That low they should be a wide pattern fog light. Fog lights are supposed to be mounted low like that, to reduce the amount of light that bounces back off water/fog into the drivers eyes. Why not use something like this on your factory light bar?

I think the first time you use the tow hooks for a recovery you are going to tear up those lights and all the work and money you spent on them will be pointless, it doesn't matter how much you like them there or anything, you will break them and that right there is the only reason I would not leave them there. otherwise I had thought about using the same location. |

I have to agree with the others. Sitting down that low defeats the purpose and they are likely to get beat up on the first big bump off-roading. |
