how many bulbs? I was looking at mine tonight, and it looks like there is supposed to be 2 and one is burned out. in California, or at least in my area, that's a sure fire way to get pulled over by the police. They use the burned out license plate bulbs to pull you over, then start searching your vehicle... I think I'll get ahead of the game and replace the bulb. |

If the car is made right, there is 2 bulbs. So if 1 goes out you are violating any laws.. Yes CA loves using bulbs to pull over folks. But it help to catch more bad guys than good guys. I have done 12 ride along with cops in 4 differant cities. For the most part they just want okeep the good people good and teach the bad people that crime is bad.... If you are nice and smart nothing will go wrong. just keep your car clean on the inside. Keep tools ina tool box. and do not carry around stolen things in your car. |

oh, and you forgot to say "don't carry around any drugs in your car" I used to have this old ex-telephone company van. I had changed the engine in it and had all the tools scattered all over the place in the back of the van. I got pulled over for no license plate light, and the deputy just knew that he had struck gold and that I was up to no good with all those tools in there. |
