I took my Liberty to Hollywood Chrysler Jeep in Hollywood FL and I was VERY VERY impressed with them and the service today.

Problem 1 - MyGig has a mind of its own. Its slow to turn on when I start my truck and the volume knob and volume buttons on the steering wheel sometimes lag when used.

Outcome - Found that the radio has an intermittent internal error

Solution - Ordered new MyGig WARRANTY

Problem 2 - E-Brake has no bit. When I engage my E-Brake nothing happens.

Outcome - Found that the Parking Brake Handle is not adjusting

Solution - Parts Ordered WARRANTY

Problem 3 - Red Brake Light (on the dash) turns on when stopping

Outcome - Found vehicle low on brake fluid

Solution - Add brake fluid NO CHARGE

Problem 4 - Leaking oil from oil filter after Dealership Oil Change done in Tallahassee.

Outcome - Tallahassee Dealership did a sloppy oil change and didn't tighten down the oil filter.

Solution - Drop front skid to clean the oil off it, remove oil filter to ensure everything it ok with the seal, clean and replace the oil filter NO CHARGE

They could have charged me for the brake fluid and the oil filter fix but they took care of it for me. Overall I was very impressed with the quality of service and extremely happy with how they took care of me. I guess there still are some good DCJ dealerships out there!!!

My guess is that if you go walking into the dealer like you're mowing your lawn in your avatar, most dealers will do whatever gets you out of there the fastest...

That's a good question ... I was so mesmerized that they were warranting so much stuff and not charging me I didn't even think to ask. I'll have to call tomorrow and ask.

ALSO, I had them check to see if they could turn off my TPMS via the StarScan and they said they looked though all the setting in the StarScan but couldn't not find out where/how to turn off the TPMS.

Yes I have 0% rear brakes and 60% front brakes left ... They wanted to replace the rear pads with the OEM Mopar pads and cut the rotors for $250 BUT I told them I didn't want the Mopar pads just for them to wear out as quick as they did. I'm going to buy some EBC pads and put them on all 4 corners.

That explains it... It going to suck when you redo all corners

Yeah going to have a big mess. You should never add brake fluid, the fluid level is a brake wear indicator. The only time you should ever have to add brake fluid is if doing a brake flush, bleeding brakes,or refilling after fixing a brake fluid leak.

I will most likely take it to a brake shop to do my brake job and I'll let them deal with flushing out the system when I get all 4 corners done.

Thanks for pointing that out, now I have to try and remember If I have added break fluid, time to take the tires off again :x
