Any KKs going to join me in Moab for LOST Jeep Safari 2010 next April? I'm going, I'm just not yet sure who from my family or friends will be joining me. I've been hiking in Moab in the spring and it is absolutely beautiful as you can see below:
These photos were taken in mid-March so just about a month earlier than when LJS 2010 is scheduled in the year. Who's gonna get out and wheel their KK? If you're interested, please sign up via this thread. |

..give me 2 more years (1 to move, 1 to save up the money for required Moab-level mods). Then I'll be there. |

I've been doing some checking, and there are a lot of campgrounds and cabins in Moab were you could use for $20/night (campground) to $70-80/night (4-6 person cabin). Just FYI, there are economical lodging options, which for some trips can be the most expensive part of the trip. |

It is not unheard of.... Fly into Grand Junction, CO Some of us go through there to hit Moab - we can pick you up and drop you off on the way back There has been a case when someone actually flew in from Florida, got picked up and dropped off at the airport If I'm not mistaken he used the "LOST Limo Service" if you know what i mean |

I know people in the auto transport business and chances are if I go I would have my Jeep transported there and back and I would just fly in. Its ruffly a 36 hour drive (2 people rotating driving and not stopping for anything other then food/gas) from SFLA and I'm NOT doing that and then wheelin for 5-7 days and then 36 hours back. |

don't they say that on race day your a true champ if you run your car to the track, run it on the track, then run it home... i think you should go iron man style on the offroad trip, lol how many people can say they've done a trip like that? |

When was the last time John Force drove his drag car to the track ... Is he not a true champion? I haven't seen Jimmy Johnson driving his race car to the track recently ... I get what your saying and yeah I'll give props to someone who does that ... If all goes well I should have 33's and 4.56 gears by that time and I'm not driving 2,300+ miles, EACH WAY on 33's. If you think the KK got crappy gas mileage stock, just imagine what it will get on 33's with 4.56's. |
