started doing this today. thought maybe because the spare was low, but it checked out. needed 4lbs all the way around. light cleared. Get in it tonight to come home, and there it goes blinking again. for like a minute and a half then stays solid. Not about to put 4 psi in my tires to make it go off again. Wondering if this is a by-product of the accident. Regardless I'm due for an oil change tomorrow so I'll have them look at it.

you might want to check your tire pressure again, just to make sure you don't have a slow leak

Mine does this but thats because i dont have any on my rims

i would recheck all of your pressures, to include the spare, iirc they need to be at 31+ psi. it might take a few minutes to reset after youve aired them up enough. if that doesnt work youll have to take it to the stealership to find out which one went bad. good luck those sensors arent really the cheapest little things.

I found this interesting so I cut and pasted it from another forum.

I discovered the problem. Just hadn't posted it here, but I put together a quick paper and provided it to my dealership who said they would provide it to the engineers at Chrysler for future reference. It was the charger for my iPhone. The specific charger is made by Griffin and the model is called the 'PowerJolt'.

The problem would show up about 30 mins. after the charger (with or without phone connected) was plugged in. It would cause the TPMS system to fail (TPMS light indicator). Upon unplugging the charger, the TPMS system failure light would go out within two minutes.

My best guess is the charger is causing radio interference with the rear wheels and/or spare. Once I discovered this issue, I returned it to my dealership who cleared the codes and then rechecked them again a few days later. This explains why error codes would show up for rear wheels and spare, and not the front wheels previously.

I contacted the mfg. of the PowerJolt and they had not heard of any other claims from their users, but promptly sent me a replacement PowerJolt SE to try. The SE worked, and has never caused the interference. They too were interested and shared the information with their engineers.

After several visits to the dealership, countless miles put on my new vehicle and all the frustration, it was a simple phone charger. I'm just glad I figured it out...I would have hated to return the vehicle for another one, which was approaching, only to found out the new vehicle did the same thing once I plugged in the phone charger.

Hope this helps anyone else out who comes across strange behavior with TPMS system. The entire dealership from service department, manager and GM. The senior tech. in the service department was very interested and excited it was finally resolved.
