Ive been lookin around for new gears and came across this complete front and rear kit. Only thing is i dont know if these are the correct ones im looking for cause they are listed under an XJ. Dana 30 front and 8.25 rear though, which is the same as the KK (PLEASE correct me if im wrong). idk the first thing about tearing into diffs so im gonna need someone to install it, i would actually prefer someone to show me how to do it but i dont have a place or the tools to do it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHRYSLER ... 302wt_1165 |

I don't know if those would work. I know our front uses the same gears as 07-10 Wranglers & Wrangler Unlimiteds (JK) with the Dana 30 Front Axle, but I don't know if XJ gears would work.... |

Well scratch that. I finally found a listing of part numbers for aftermarket gears and they are different. NO GO! |

Also found that some JK came stock with 4.10 so if anyone is looking to replace with that keep an eye on a wrangler or JK forum and find a cheap used set or should be easily ordered through the dealership. idk how much that would compare to going with aftermarket, just passing the info for anybody looking into it. |

xj gears wont fit the kk. only jk non rubicon will fit. I personally woudnt go with used gears since the few pennies saved are not worth the potential troubles. keep in mind that the install is as much expensive than the gears themselves. you dont want to do it twice |
