I picked up the last parts today and I was really curious to see how it looks. The dashboard was covered with the wrong alcantara it was planned to be dark grey not this light beige. I'm not sure what to do, leave as it is or remove it. What do you think? OK, now some pictures. Rear door ![]() Glove box and grab handle ![]() Dashboard ![]() ![]() Center console ![]() The headliner is planned, maybe in spring. And because of the wrong color of the dashboard the airbag cover plate will be the next. Take care. Andree (sitting in two feet of snow) |

Thanks guy's. @stumpjumper, you would be suprised how stain and dirt resistant this alcantara leather/textile is. 'Normal" dirt can be brushed out and you can use water or all kinds of cleaners to remove stains. Even blood stains are no problem. (fyi my family is still alive, but we have one wild boar less) @DirtyKK, I like the wood grain. So you think the dashboard can stay as it is? I am not sure if it wouldn't look better in dark grey. It'a great idea Digger, I will ask him if he can do it and for what price he would be able to offer the kit. @BrendonR, it's all custom made my buddy runs a car upholstery shop. |

It`s a special adhesive for upholstery. Smells horrible and sticks like hell. I talk with my buddy about a kit. He thinks that we will run into several problems. First the shipment, we are living in Germany, so the shipping costs including custom will be really high. Second, the material, there are thousands of different material and color combinations available, he will not be able to show you samples so that you can pick what you like. Third, the parts, it would be too expensive to buy the parts (e.g. glove box) here in Germany, there would be only one way to do that, you have to send him the parts out of your car. He thinks that it would be cheaper if you ask your local car upholstery shop, it should be not a problem for them to do it. Sorry guys, it's not that easy with a kit. Take care. Andree (Do you have an idea how to remove the passanger side airbag cover) |

based on the specs of your interior could he make the pieces and ship them with that special adhesive... i'm a do-it-myself kind of guy. haha Well shipping i expected to be as such... out of curiousity though what does he charge for something like your same material and everything ( only thing i would change is the color, which would be black for me) and no snake skin on the arm rests, maybe just black leather |
