Very Nice, Im assuming that due to the high lift the stock driveshaft didnt have a good enough angle.

I don't know on the final price since we worked out the deal

Also, the design of the drive shaft was changed three times, so the original price he said was going to be is out the window.

This will be a production DS. All tom should need is one measurement for 4x4 KK's. If you have a 4x2, it might be a little different. If I saw a underside picture of a 4x2 KK, I would be able to tell you

The angle wasn't all that bad. I really did this to:

1. Have serviceable U-Joints. If a U-Joint goes on a OEM shaft. You will be buying a new DS
2. Gain clearance and eliminate the rubbing at full flex that I would get
3. Correct the U-Joint angle as to make them last longer

These issues probably wont occur in a JBA 2.5" lift right, the rubbing and bad U Joints? And i wonder if the Dealer would give a hard time if a u Joint went with a lift

No problems with the 2.5..... I have uber flex compared to you  You would rip your brake lines before you got to the point or rubbing

May be.... once you run out of warranty, you are still stuck buying a new DS

I had to guess, I'd say the new shaft is 22-25 lbs and the old one, maybe 10 lbs

Cool Digger. Congrats on blazing another KK trail.

When Tom Woods gets some info posted on this as a KK production part, we should update our KK aftermarket parts/suppliers list.

E2, I've only sagged .25 inches from my starting height. Plus I have a few more things in the back :-)r

DirtyKK, The price would be $584.00 complete and delivered (UPS Ground, lower 48 states). This would not include the polish & clear coat finish. That is a $15.00 option.
