you always do this... we don't know all the features of your jeep so we cannot exactly tell what yours is worth, also we need to know the condition ( any damage?), on top of that have you been keeping up with maintenance? how much did you originally pay?

You ask vague/strange questions with not enough detail to provide a solid response.

If you want us to properly value your KK, we need to know the items stated above - there are MANY more factors involved than year and miles.

Two other things that weren't mentioned above; the trim level (sport/limited), and your geographic location - after all, 4x4s generally sell at higher prices used in climates that require 4wd (ie, Calgary, Ab, Canada).

Another good way to check it out, go look at a dealerships used lot to find a compareable KK to yours - that'll give you a rough ballpark anyways. If they have one listed for $15,000 - you might be able to get $13,000 or so (remember, dealers always mark the window sticker high, to give room for negotiators).

this should help you.

my old 08KK - auto 4x4

options - roof rack -didn't even have privacy glass so basically a no option car.

issues - hood rattled, stained rear seats, wearing on the front seats, skuff marks galore. 27500 miles

they dealer gave me 15k for it on a trade in...in their, meaning the dealers book, in rough shape the car would be worth more than what you were offered.

that's why you would want to use the Kelly Blue Book. It's pretty much the standard for pricing of used vehicles. It takes you zip code, so it knows what your jeep should be worth in your area. You add all of the features of the jeep, then you tell it what condition the jeep is in. You get suggested retail value, trade in value, or a value if you are selling it to a private party.

I also have a 2008 Liberty Sport and ran my vehicle through Kelly Blue Book. It says I should expect to get $16,085 from a private party sell, considering my vehicle is in average condition.
