Well I am getting close to needing spark plugs. So I thought I would pass this find along.
The Menard's store buy my house is closing out their Autolite spark plugs (just put them in) They have the APP5224 double platinum $6.29 2pk., regular platinum AP5224 and Iridium XS5224 this is the sport plug but I don't see any difference between it and the XP5224 $3.29 each. If you go to Autolite's web site the have mail in rebates $2 Iridium and $1.50 double platinum $1.25 on platinum. You might want to check out the Menard's near you. Sorry I don't remember the prices on the platinum and standard copper plugs.

ya menards must be a midwest thing cause i know they have em back home in iowa but definitely not in florida. i think my jeep is in the need for new plugs............ hmm........

So Digger, I have a question. I purchased the Iridium Autolite plugs, Autolite recommends .035 gap the sticker on the Jeep say's .043 . Have you had any experience? Or recommendation.

Run what ever your VECI (Vehicle Emissions Control Information) sticker says which is .043 IIRC

invest in a composite or plastic gapper

do NOT use one of the metal gappers on plat or iridium plugs
